Thursday, December 21, 2017: How the Calendar Communicates: Teaching Through the Feasts

In this webinar Mike Aquilina will discuss how the events of the liturgical calendar of the Church -- including Advent and Christmas -- can be used to teach the Gospel and engage the media.

Mike Aquilina is the author of more than fifty books (and probably more than a thousand published articles) on Catholic history, doctrine, and devotion. He edited the Pittsburgh Catholic newspaper from 1993 to 1996.

Contact Brian Finnerty for more information.

Thursday, February 22, 2018: Creativity in Writing

Katie Scott, special projects reporter for the Catholic Sentinel in Portland, Oregon, will show us how to become more creative in our writing.

Scott was honored by the Catholic Press Association in 2017 with a second place award for Writer of the Year. Judges described her as telling "tough, challenging stories, and she tells stories that touch the heart. The common thread is that in both kinds, her storytelling is excellent."

Register to attend the webinar by 1:00 ET February 22nd.

Contact Jennifer Brinker for more information.
